To create a new software team at its headquarters in Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Sitecom is looking for:

Junior software engineers/developers

You will be creating/developing applications for different kind of networking devices. The software development will involve:

• Networking protocols
• Embedded applications
• Desktop applications

This position is a challenging and great opportunity to start your career in an international company, where you will contribute with your ideas and creativity and be an active part in the development of the products and improvement of the user experience.

Required knowledge:

• Proficient in C programming language and object oriented programming (C++ and Java)
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and architectures
• Knowledge about the Linux kernel architecture and Operating System architectures in general

Desired knowledge (will be a plus):

• Embedded programming
• Mac OS X development (Cocoa/Objective-C)
• .NET
• OpenGL
• iPhone/Android/Symbian development

Personality:

• Strong team-player
• Creative
• Willing to learn
• Fluent in English

We request:

• Significant sales experience in IT market (computers and peripherals)
• 'People skills' to relate to resellers and channel dealers
• Confident, competitive, patient and tenacious attitude in order to get long-terms sales results
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Greek; fluent English
• Good managing, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently, target-oriented, but even within a team environment.
