FAQ's
-
What is the difference between a router and a modem router?
A router is connected to a modem, which you get from your Internet service provider. This is often the case when you have a cable Internet connection. A modem router is directly connected to your ADSL telephone line so you do not require a separate modem.

What operating systems are compatible?
Sitecom routers are compatible with all operating systems.
-
Do 802.11g and 802.11n products work with each other?
Products that support 802.11n are backwards compatible and can be used in combination with 802.11g devices.
-
What is OPS?
All the Sitecom Wireless (modem) routers and wireless USB adapters have OPS (One Push Set-up) technology, which you can use to create a secure wireless network with the push of just one button.
-
Why do Sitecom modem routers have internal antennas?
The antennas are fully incorporated into the housing and positioned so that optimal coverage is guaranteed. With a modem router with external antennas you will have to ensure that they are optimally aligned, using a Sitecom modem router with internal antennas this has already been done for you.
